Supratec aerator has undergone continuous refinement over the past years with the aim to deliver a superior reliability and significantly reduced air consumption — making Supratec aeration devices the most competitive solutions available today on the market.Building on this expertise, Supratec has recently launched the new SupraLift system, an advanced solution designed to maximize hollow fiber membrane cleaning performance with the following key advantages:1. Each device is equipped with multi-air entry that ensures the bubbles sizes are of the most optimal size for the highest penetration into membrane bundles, making the air distribution more uniform and efficient cleaning.2. In addition, as a new innovation, SupraLift device generates additional turbo flow through its unique design similar to that of turbo booster of a turbo-engine, enhancing cleaning efficiency while reducing the energy consumption..Thanks to these features, the new SupraLift device guarantees market-leading performance with the following air requirements for scouring: 0.068 Nm3/h*m2 (typical value) - 0.103 Nm3/h*m2 (maximum value).

- Cyprus 67% · Greece 37% · Romania 34% - Portugal 31% · Italy 27% · Spain 26.5%Two challenges hitting simultaneously:Water scarcity. MBR technology produces high-quality effluent that meets reuse standards - for irrigation, industrial cooling, groundwater recharge. In regions under water stress, this isn't a nice-to-have. It's the point.Energy pressure. Heatwaves drive peak electricity demand through air conditioning. Grid capacity tightens. For wastewater operators, running energy-intensive aeration systems at exactly this moment is a real operational constraint.Low-energy MBR systems become a strategic advantage - not just an efficiency metric. The infrastructure decisions made now will determine how resilient these systems are next summer, and the one after that.

Every July, the Irrigation Association's Smart Irrigation Month spotlights efficient water use across agriculture and landscaping worldwide — Supratec is joining in, and we'd encourage others in the water sector to do the same. One piece of that conversation doesn't get enough airtime: treated wastewater reuse for irrigation. The technology for irrigation-grade quality already exists — membrane filtration can deliver the pathogen removal and consistency reuse standards demand. So what's actually slowing adoption?Genuinely curious what you'd rank as the biggest barrier: regulation, cost, or public perception. Drop your take below — or tell us what we're missing.Supratec — membrane technology since 1974.
